ALBUM: SANDSTORM

Sandstorm is the fourth album released by Dana Al fardan. Originally recorded by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra in Doha, this body of work blends strings, choral vocals and soloists with traditional Middle Eastern rhythms. 

A rich and evocative piece inspired by Arabic-influenced world music, ‘Sandstorm’ is a symphonic journey across the globe, offering a vibrant immersion for the musical nomad. 

In Dana’s words: “Sandstorm is my musical evolution into a space and time that has opened my mind up to a whole new world of expression. In this project I try to offer a fresh perspective on melodic themes from my roots as an Arab, while exploring the universal components of certain sounds and influences from around the world.”
